EUROSCREEN FAST adds TANGO Beta-Arrestin Assay Technology to its expanding offer for GPCR Services
Brussels, Belgium, March 10, 2010 - Euroscreen SA, a global leader in the discovery of innovative drugs targeting G protein-coupled receptor (GPCRs), announced today that its business unit, Euroscreen FAST signed an agreement with Life Technologies Corporation for access to its TANGO beta-arrestin cell lines for use in drug discovery research services to be provided to Euroscreen FAST customers worldwide.  Euroscreen FAST will immediately provide cell-based beta-arrestin assays as a service to customers to continue leveraging its leadership position in the GPCR custom services market.  Such additional testing will extend its offer of over 700 different assays for 300 GPCRs.

Euroscreen achieves Milestone in CNS Therapeutic Partnership with Cephalon
Euroscreen S.A., Brussels, Belgium, January 11, 2010 - Euroscreen announced that it has completed its five-year target discovery and screening collaboration with Cephalon, Inc.  In the final , two year phase of the collaboration, Euroscreen delivered optimized lead molecules on a non-disclosed, specific GPCR target triggering a milestone payment by Cephalon.  Financial details were not disclosed.

Euroscreen announces Research Collaboration with Novartis

Euroscreen SA a leader in G Protein Coupled Receptor (GPCR) science, today announced that it signed a Research Collaboration Agreement with Novartis to discover new targets for possible application in certain disease areas.  Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Euroscreen CCR5 Agonist program available for out-licensing
A CCR5 Agonist program has been pursued at Euroscreen for 2 years, resulting in the development of a patented lead series positioned for final chemistry improvements before the declaration of a development candidate and the completion of pre-IND studies.  Euroscreen's re-prioritization of programs and ressources caused the shelving of this program in October, 2008.

Euroscreen expands its Drug Development Collaboration with Cephalon
Euroscreen S.A., Brussels, Belgium., November 11, 2008 - Euroscreen announced that it has expanded its agreement with Cephalon, Inc. to focus on drug development for a specific target of interest to Cephalon.  In 2004, Euroscreen and Cephalon initiated their collaboration to discover and develop small molecule therapeutics focused upon central nervous system diseases and targeting G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCR), a family of receptors that play a major role in cell signaling.

Euroscreen Licenses CCR5 Patent Rights to AstraZeneca
Brussels, Belgium, March 3, 2008 - Euroscreen S.A. has completed a license agreement with AstraZeneca UK Ltd, for access to its worldwide portfolio of CCR5 patent rights.  Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Euroscreen is the exclusive licensor of rights originally generated by ICOS, Human Genome Sciences, and Euroscreen for this combined portfolio of CCR5 patents for non-antibody therapeutic development.

Euroscreen wins the opposition related to its CCR5 patent claims

Brussels, Belgium 19th February 2008 Euroscreen SA today announced its success in a patent battle against Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. filed an opposition against the European patent 0 811 063 B1 owned by Euroscreen and requested to revoke the entire patent and more particularly the claims related to CCR5 antibodies.

Euroscreen receives patent covering methods to identify compounds that bind to Chemerin receptor

Euroscreen has been awarded a US patent for uses of Chemerin receptor and its natural ligand, Chemerin; both implicated in the control of physiological and pathological inflammatory reactions.

Brussels, Belgium 19th February 2008 – Euroscreen SA today announced the issuance of a key US patent which protects the uses of Chemerin receptor and Chemerin to discover new compounds modulating its activity, in order to develop drugs with pharmaceutical potential.
