Cephalon Inc

Euroscreen demonstrated its expertise in drug discovery through completion of a fully-funded GPCR screening and lead development partnership (2004-2009) with Cephalon.  This partnership was successfully concluded with the delivery of small-molecule, orally-available development candidates surpassing Cephalon's pre-set milestone criteria.  This agreement is now terminated without further obligations to Cephalon.

Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc

This collaboration is for development of compounds for the potential treatment of type 2 diabetes and other disorders.  Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals is responsible for the development of all clinical candidates and products resulting from the collaboration.  In exchange, Euroscreen received an upfront payment and additional committed, but undisclosed research funding over the next three years.
Euroscreen could potentially receive up to €150 millions for the achievement of certain pre-specified milestones over the term of the program, and is also eligible to receive royalties on worldwide sales of any future marketed products that may result from the collaboration.

Novartis Pharma AG

Euroscreen’s research collaboration with Novartis Pharma targets the identification of the natural ligands of orphan receptors. Novartis is responsible for subsequent drug discovery activities for these receptors in exchange of non-disclosed downstream payments.
