Euroscreen has identified and optimized new chemical scaffolds with potent activity at the NK3 receptor. Our lead candidate has been compared directly to competing agents and offers a superior potency and preliminary safety profile, aspects key to establishing a competitive advantage in development. Moreover, Euroscreen has established the leading position in targeting NK3 ligands toward the clinically-validated HPG axis, wherein the superior position of NK3 in the hierarchy of this axis suggests that a NK3 antagonist will offer tighter modulation of sex hormone levels and therefore superior tolerability than the marketed GnRH ligand, especially for non-malignant disorders such as endometriosis.
